xls.objects

xls.objects

The xls.objects table is a part of the SaveToDB Framework used to configure saving changes and objects.

Below is a configuration sample:

The table has the following fields:

  1. ID
  2. TABLE_SCHEMA
  3. TABLE_NAME
  4. TABLE_TYPE
  5. TABLE_CODE
  6. INSERT_OBJECT
  7. UPDATE_OBJECT
  8. DELETE_OBJECT

Use TABLE_SCHEMA and TABLE_NAME to define database objects being configured.

Use the following values in the TABLE_TYPE field: TABLE, VIEW, FUNCTION, PROCEDURE, or CODE.

Use the CODE value to create an SQL-based object. Place its SQL definition into the TABLE_CODE field.

Users may connect to SQL-based objects to select data. Developers may use such objects in the xls.handlers table.

Use the INSERT_OBJECT, UPDATE_OBJECT, and DELETE_OBJECT fields to specify objects used to save data changes.

You may use stored procedures, SQL codes, tables, or views.

For tables and views, specify the same name in all three fields.

See Saving changes for additional details.
