gConnectionManager allows editing database connection strings in application configuration files.

Highlighted features of gConnectionManager:

  • gConnectionManager is easy-to-use for end-users that are not developers or administrators.
  • gConnectionManager allows protecting connection strings using Windows cryptographic providers.
  • The connection wizard allows connecting to databases in visual mode.
  • You can copy and paste connection strings.
  • You can temporarily disable connection strings. Such strings are moved to the disabledConnectionStrings section.
  • gConnectionManager can be used by other products as a connection string editor.
