This SaveToDB 8 package is for existing customers only.
New users can download and activate the latest SaveToDB 9 only.

Installing SaveToDB Add-in

  1. Unzip the downloaded package to a folder on a local hard drive.
  2. Close Microsoft Excel.
  3. Run setup.exe and follow wizard steps.
  4. Open Microsoft Excel. You have to see the Database tab.

SaveToDB 8 doesn't support installing on Windows XP. You can ask for SaveToDB 7 that does.

If you do not see the Database tab

If you do not see the Database tab in Microsoft Excel:

  1. Close Microsoft Excel.
  2. Run Start, All Programs, SaveToDB, Run Diagnostic Tool, and follow instructions.
  3. Open Microsoft Excel.

If the diagnostic tool does not help, try to activate the add-in manually:

  1. Close Microsoft Excel.
  2. Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Gartle\SaveToDB\RegisterSaveToDB_User.cmd.
  3. Open Microsoft Excel.

If there is still no Database tab, please, try to activate the add-in from the disabled items in Excel:

  1. Open Microsoft Excel File, Options.
  2. Open the Add-Ins tab.
  3. Select Disabled Items in the Manage list (in the bottom left corner)
  4. Select the SaveToDB add-in and click Enable.
