This SaveToDB 8 package is for existing customers only.
New users can download and activate the latest SaveToDB 9 only.
Installing SaveToDB Add-in
- Unzip the downloaded package to a folder on a local hard drive.
- Close Microsoft Excel.
- Run setup.exe and follow wizard steps.
- Open Microsoft Excel. You have to see the Database tab.
SaveToDB 8 doesn't support installing on Windows XP. You can ask for SaveToDB 7 that does.
If you do not see the Database tab
If you do not see the Database tab in Microsoft Excel:
- Close Microsoft Excel.
- Run Start, All Programs, SaveToDB, Run Diagnostic Tool, and follow instructions.
- Open Microsoft Excel.
If the diagnostic tool does not help, try to activate the add-in manually:
- Close Microsoft Excel.
- Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Gartle\SaveToDB\RegisterSaveToDB_User.cmd.
- Open Microsoft Excel.
If there is still no Database tab, please, try to activate the add-in from the disabled items in Excel:
- Open Microsoft Excel File, Options.
- Open the Add-Ins tab.
- Select Disabled Items in the Manage list (in the bottom left corner)
- Select the SaveToDB add-in and click Enable.
