Saving Data via ODataDB

ODataDB reads the xls.objects table and the QueryList views to configure EntitySets and FunctionImports.

It supports all the methods described in the following topics:

• Saving Data to Tables
• Saving Data to Views
• Saving Data Using Procedures
• Saving Data Using SQL

The built-in ODataDB JavaScript client calls POST, PUT, and DELETE commands to update the changed data.

The SaveToDB add-in can connect to ODataDB endpoints and use OData commands to update the data.

SaveToDB 8+ also supports extended ODataDB annotations.
